SEVEN YEARS AGO, on the day of their graduation, Violet Liseran betrayed Lavender Lilac, breaking her heart and ruining her perfect life.
The year is LL 70, and princess of empire Lavender Lilac has fallen head over heels in love with natural-born ace mech pilot Violet Liseran at their prestigious military academy. Although Lavender is supposed to be on a fast track to take command in a time of peace, a faction of laborers from some backwater space colony have begun a rebellion, and the Empire is at war. And then Violet defects.
The year is LL 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, and the war rages on, with the rebels slowly gaining ground. While Violet has become the star ace of the rebellion, the face of their propaganda, Lavender's entire life has collapsed around her. Denied command and cast out by her family, her spiraling hatred for Violet has driven her to become an ace in her own right, always laser focused on her goal of getting to kill her.
The year is LL 77, and Lavender Lilac and Violet Liseran are meeting in battle for the first time.
Lovely Liseran Loathsome Lilac is a story of doomed ex-love. This is the first part, Chapter: Lavender, which tells the story from Lavender's perspective up to the point at which she and Violet inevitably collide once again. Featuring:
- 4k words of mecha tragedy and violence.
- Non-chronological storytelling. Space and time dance around each other on a fated path to destruction.
- First-person perspective locks you inside Lav's head, giving you full access to the totality of her swirling psychosexual fixation. She can't see anything beyond her own obsessions, and neither can you!
- Communist propaganda.
- A melange of differing visual styles. Will anything ever feel that real again?

Super fucking cool. I haven't really interacted with a lot of Mech type stuff but this one really got me. Good mix of different types of visuals. Really good start to a story about hatred and bitterness and want and desire. Excited to see where it goes.
i felt insane after reading this (positive), i can't wait for more i love the writing and the art and the music and lilac is so pathetic in a lovely way and my heart was pounding when violet appeared
Wowowowowow! This got me super invested by the end. Was a bit confused with the beginning about who we were following and what exactly was going on, but after I understood I got very invested super quickly.
Very well written characters, lovely language, and tasteful amounts of horny! All coming together into a great time!
Also loved the use of 3d and irl assets, we love mixed media here at the coven! And know that takes a lot of work to get in there so it's awesome to see. Awesome experience, thank you for the gay mech shit(and plz give us more!) <3
Hello. How are you all.
I enjoyed your game. Quite a bit, actually. On several levels. I think even knowing that this is a smaller piece, I would still say this stands alone as a pretty strong short story with a very well defined speaker.
I think the detail that perhaps captures me the most is that Lavender could have probably left this regime at any time to return to Violet but refuses to do so out of spite. That the "Violet leaving her" narrative she has constructed is so burned into her that even getting to her easily cannot be an option because violet need to return to her in her own field of view, through this war they were both trained for together.
The sound and music was really great :) the way it all felt kind of like teeth grinding against each other had me at the edge of my seat. I also think the intro was straight genius. That alarm? Hell yeah. The displays coming on with each siren. FUCK yeah. I was locked in.
I WANNA SEE WHAT HAPPENS. Looking forward to more. :)))))))))))))))
I really liked it! A short but sweet teaser for something I'm excited to see come out. I like the mech design and story, and I love the lovers-to-enemies dynamic.
